This district is the eastern half of the Town of Dryden
including the Villages of Dryden and Freeville.

Mike Hattery: An experienced Candidate:

Local Government Experience:

  • Current member of the Dryden Town Board
  • Dryden Village Trustee for 13 years 1990–2003
  • Deputy Mayor for Village of Dryden for 11 years (1992–2003)
  • Former member of the Town of Dryden Planning Board
  • Resident of the Town of Dryden for over 25 years
  • Prudent legislator — working with fellow board members over the last 15 years to keep tax increases below the rate of inflation, while making needed capital investments

Professional Experience

  • Full time Staff of the Cornell Local Government Program for the last 23 years conducting training and working directly with many municipalities and officials in New York State on opportunities for cooperation and cost savings
  • Masters Degree in Public Administration
