Steve Stelick, Jr.

  • Completing first term (2002–05) as Town Councilman
  • Past two years (2004–05) served as Deputy Town Supervisor
  • Town Tax Rate has held steady throughout my first term at right around 1.47%
  • Lifelong resident of the Town of Dryden
  • Store Manager and Certified Trainer for Eckerd Corp.
  • Successfully proven leadership, management, training, fiscal planning and budgeting expertise
  • Community volunteer
  • Keen ability to listen to and work with people of all ages
  • Coach for many youth sports
  • Inter-municipal cooperation: (i.e., working with Dryden Village; County; TC3; NY State, Dryden School, etc.)
  • New Town Hall: the past two years I explored over 10 sites — the site has been selected — the project is moving forward
  • Secured grant writing services of Thoma Development to assist with exploration of untapped revenue sources
  • Recreation: Secured funding for a recreation coordinator to enhance recreational opportunities (i.e., Music-In-The-Park, etc.) for Town residents and to enhance the commitment for effective utilization and development of town facilities, community centers & parks
